The Zapier integration allows you to connect other applications to Fusion Signage and automate media uploads.

Every Zap contains:

- A **trigger**, which starts the automation
- An **action**, which Zapier performs after the trigger occurs

For example: *When a new image is added to a Google Drive folder, automatically upload it to Fusion Signage.*

In this workflow, the new file is the trigger and uploading it to Fusion Signage is the action.

## Does Fusion Signage provide triggers?

Fusion Signage does not currently provide its own Zapier triggers.

This means an event within Fusion Signage, such as a screen going offline cannot currently start a Zap.

Instead, the trigger comes from another connected application. Fusion Signage is then used as the action at the end of the workflow.

## What Fusion Signage action is available?

The current Fusion Signage action is:

### Upload Media

This action uploads a media item to a selected folder in your Fusion Signage media library.

The following information is required:

- **Name:** The name given to the media item
- **Media URL:** A URL Zapier and Fusion Signage can use to access the file
- **Folder:** The destination folder in your Fusion Signage media library

Fusion Signage does not currently provide Zapier actions for adding the uploaded media to a playlist or publishing it to a screen.
