This guide walks you through installing the Fusion Signage application via APK on Sony Bravia Pro Range commercial screens. These steps assume you have completed the initial out-of-the-box setup. Simply follow the on-screen prompts, ensuring your device is connected to the internet when prompted.
Installation steps
Equipment required:
Sony remote.
USB memory stick containing only the latest Fusion Signage APK (download it here: https://fus.app/a.apk).
Active internet connection.
Enable professional settings
To proceed with the installation, your device must have Pro Settings enabled.
Using the remote, press the following keys in sequence: Info → Mute → Volume Up → Home.
When successful, a blue label appears at the top of your screen saying 'Pro settings in process'.
Install the Fusion Signage APK
Insert the USB stick into the USB port on your Sony Bravia Pro screen.
Access the Settings menu (the gear icon at the top right of the screen).
Go into the Pro Settings tab.
Scroll down and click Install APK.
Select the APK file from the USB (it should appear as a single file if the USB was prepared correctly).
Press Install.
Once the installation completes, the Fusion Signage application will be installed on your screen.
The screen's identity code will briefly appear on the display.
Additional configurations
Power on / off schedule
Please note – energy-saving features are active by default, and the screen will turn off after 4 hours. To prevent this:
Navigate to Settings > System > Power & Energy.
Select Energy Saver.
Set Turn off display after to Never.
Set automated schedule
Ensure you are in Pro Settings Mode (refer to Step 1 of installation steps).
Go to Settings > Pro Settings > Power Scheduling.
Toggle Power Scheduling to On.
Choose Power On and Power Off times.
Confirm by pressing OK.
Select your preferred Run Schedule – either Daily or Weekly.
Set Fusion Signage to auto-boot on screen power on
Ensure Pro Settings Mode is enabled (see first step).
At the top right, go to Settings > Pro Settings.
Scroll down to Initial Input Source under Initial Source and Volume.
Select Android App.
In the Package section, enter:
au.com.fusion.mediaclient
In the Activity section, enter:
au.com.fusion.mediaclient.SplashActivityPress OK.
Return to Pro Settings and ensure Fusion Signage is enabled.
To enable Pro Mode (which auto boots the app on start-up):
Go to Settings > Pro Settings.
Select Start Pro Mode.
Please note – switching to Pro Mode will remove the Pro Settings Watermark and allow Fusion Signage to auto-start each time. It takes about 30 seconds for the app to fully boot.
Enable the Pro Mode Tool
In Pro Settings, enable the Pro Mode Tool.
This adds a shortcut on the home screen for quick switching between Pro Mode and Pro Settings.
Add app shortcuts to the homepage
On the home screen, tap the + icon under Favourite Apps.
Add both Fusion Signage and Pro Mode Tool (if enabled) for easy access.
Software and firmware updates
Automatic software updates
It’s recommended to set your screen to automatically perform software updates.
