LED and Custom Resolutions

when using fusion signage with an led display, you'll need an external media player (android, windows, linux, mac) to drive the content if your led setup includes a scaler, you can run fusion signage in full screen on the media player and use the scaler to size the content to match your screen if you don’t have a scaler or prefer not to use one, fusion signage offers a built in feature to set a custom resolution and offset, allowing you to precisely match your led display note once you set a custom resolution, fusion signage will fit content (including menus) within that space be sure you can access the device remotely or use a standard resolution screen if you set these numbers incorrectly led standard settings most led panels start at pixel 0,0 in the top left corner and display content based on the available led panels this means you need to create content tailored to your specific led resolution and set a custom screen size in fusion signage caution make sure you understand exactly where your content will appear on your panels before enabling this setting setting up the custom resolution and offset install and launch fusion signage on your device click on settings navigate to advanced (screen size) and toggle on custom screen resolution enter the necessary details width (pixels) your screen width in pixels height (pixels) your screen height in pixels offset top (pixels) usually 0 offset left (pixels) usually 0 for example width (pixels) 660 height (pixels) 880 offset top (pixels) 250 offset left (pixels) 190 turning off the custom resolution access the fusion signage menu by clicking on the screen go to settings > advanced (screen size) toggle off custom screen resolution please note if your custom resolution is very small, you may lose access to the menu used to disable it in that case, you’ll need to clear the app cache or reinstall fusion signage looking for something else? we can’t wait to hear about it reach out to our sunshiney support and we'll be in touch in a flash
