Let's get started!

Key components of Fusion Signage

Fusion Signage is a Digital Signage Content Management System (CMS) which allows you to take Media, add it to a Playlist or Schedule, and send it to a Screen anywhere in the world.

There are a few buzz words in there which we will explain now:

  • Media is what you want to display on your screen and can be any of the following formats:
    • Images/Photos (PNG, JPG, JPEG)
    • Videos (MP4)
    • Websites (public websites)
    • Designs (created in our Designer)
  • Playlists contain your Media are are assigned to your Screens to tell them what to play. You can have as many Playlists as you want for different messages, or different Screens. You could create one Playlist for your specials, and another for your Christmas content.
  • Schedules allow you to select a Playlist and tell it when you want it play. You can take your Christmas Playlist and tell it to only play for the month of December, or even just the 25th of December. The Schedule automates the changing between different playlists based on time of day, or day of the week.
  • Screens can either be commercial grade TV screens or standalone media players, but they are what is installed in your business and where you want your content to appear. Fusion Signage has an application which runs on these devices which is paired to your account.
The Flow

A quick flow is as follows:

  1. Find your Media on your computer
  2. Go to the Manage section and upload it
  3. Create a new Playlist
  4. Add your Media to that Playlist
  5. Publish the Playlist to your Screen.
