Components of Fusion Signage

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Fusion Signage is a digital signage software that enables you to display your content exactly how you want it. Place your images, videos, or other media items into a playlist, then schedule when and where they'll go live.

Here are some key terms to know

Media
The content you want to show on your screens. Examples include:

  • Images (PNG, JPG, JPEG)

  • Videos (MP4)

  • Websites (public URLs that are iframe compatible)

  • Designs (AKA templates) created within the portal

Playlists

A collection of media items grouped together to display on one or multiple screens.

You can create many playlists – one for daily specials, another for seasonal offers, and another tailored for specific locations. Playlists can be assigned directly to a screen without needing a schedule.

Schedules

They organise which playlist is shown and when.

Using schedules, you can have different content appear on specified times or days.

For example:

  • Breakfast specials in the morning

  • Lunch menu at noon

  • Afternoon snacks at school-pick up time

  • Festive content all through December

Screens

The physical devices installed in your business.

These are typically commercial-grade screens. Fusion Signage software runs directly on these through SOC (System on Chip) or through a media player.
