Fusion Signage menu

You can access the Fusion Signage menu by tapping on the screen (if touch-enabled), clicking the screen, or using your remote control (back/enter buttons). The menu displays the following information and options.

Field

Description

Version number (e.g., v2.3.0)

Automatically updates with new versions if your device has root access and this setting is enabled in Settings.

Identity: tfF3Mo

A unique identifier assigned when the device connects to the internet. Use this to add the device to your account. If missing, follow steps below.

Device Time: 2022-10-12

Displays the current device date and time. Fusion Signage relies on this for security checks and scheduling. Ensure it’s accurate in Settings.

Download State: no files currently downloading

Shows real-time progress once a playlist is assigned.

Playlist Assigned: no playlist synced

Displays the current playlist or schedule assigned to the device.

Get Playlist Button

Forces the app to check for new content immediately, bypassing the regular 40-second server poll.

Opens additional Android and Fusion Signage settings (see below).

Setting

Description

WiFi Settings

Configure WiFi connection on the device. Opens Android network settings.

Date/Time Settings

Set the device’s date and time. Ensure exact time zone, date, and time, as Fusion Signage uses this for security and scheduling.

Display Settings

Adjust display options, such as font size. Keep font size at ‘Normal’ for optimal readability – some devices default to ‘Huge’.

Screen Orientation

Choose between portrait or landscape mode for the device display.

Automatic Updates

Enable to keep Fusion Signage updated automatically. Turn off if you prefer manual updates, then use the Update App button in Settings to update manually.

Automatic Start

Launch Fusion Signage automatically when the device boots. Recommended unless another app handles auto-start.

Support – Open TeamViewer

Opens or installs the TeamViewer Quick Support app for remote troubleshooting. You need your own TeamViewer account and the Android add-on. Customers can provide a TeamViewer code for remote access.

Advanced (Screen Size)

Set a custom screen resolution or offset, mainly used for LED displays. See the detailed guide here.
