Permission Groups and Tags

Permission groups
If you have an Advanced Licence, you can create and manage user permission groups to control what different users can see and do within your portal.

  • Navigate to the Permission Groups tab in Settings.

  • From here, you can add, duplicate, or delete permission groups.

  • Clicking Add Permission Group allows you to name the group and define its access level.

Setting permissions
For areas such as screens, screen groups, media folders, playlists, and schedules, you can specify whether a user group can:

  • View only

  • View and modify

  • Create new elements

Tags for detailed control (Pro Licence)
After saving a permission group, you can assign specific tags to elements like screens, media folders, playlists, and schedules.

  • Use tags to filter and quickly locate elements within the permissions section.

  • Assign tags to restrict user access to only the tagged items – this allows for precise control over who can see or edit assets.

Tags and permission groups enable detailed access management – making it easier to ensure security and streamline tasks for different users.
