Email notifications, such as licence expiry and purchase confirmations, will be sent to all management-level users - not just the contact user.
This is to help ensure that no important information gets missed if the contact user is unavailable, on leave, or no longer with the company. We want everyone who needs to stay informed to receive these updates.
If you'd prefer not to receive these notifications anymore, you can turn them off by going to Settings → Users → Manage. Then toggle off 'Enable Management User Notification Emails' for each user you want to exclude.
