Chat with a digital signage integrator
Digital signage is a commercial solution that has a lot of technical components. There are many different types of screens for specific purposes. It isn't as simple as buying a screen from a retail store, as they may not be fit for purpose.
We always recommend talking with an integrator who specialises in digital signage to ensure you get the best solution possible.
If you don't yet have an integrator, reach out to us at [email protected] and we can put you in touch with one of our trusted partners.
Things to consider:
When buying a digital signage screen for your business, you'll need to think about:
- Positioning
- Where will the screen go within your business?
- If on a wall - what is the wall made out of?
- If not on a wall - how will it be supported?
- Is there power and data available?
- Is it near a window, indoor, or outdoor?
- Brightness
- High levels of ambient light will need higher brightness screens (500+ nits)
- Outdoor screens will need to be 1500+ nits
- Indoor screes can be 250-500 nits
- Orientation
- Does your screen support landscape and portrait orientation?
- Size
- How much space do you have?
- Will your customers be able to see the content on the screen easily
- Media Player
- Does the screen have a media player built in (System-on-Chip)?
- Do I need to buy a media player
- Commercial versus Smart TV
- Is my screen a Smart TV? Will I be able to install the Fusion Signage application on it?
