First‑time panel setup (out of the box)
Follow the on‑screen wizard. Names can vary slightly by model / firmware – use the closest match.
Language – select your preferred language.
Network – connect via WiFi or ethernet.
The panel must be online to receive its Fusion Signage identity code later.
Privacy notice – read and accept when prompted.
Installation type – select Basic Setup (or continue the setup wizard on older models).
Display orientation – choose portrait, landscape, or auto as needed.
Auto power off – set off (recommended for continuous signage use).
Note on menu naming
On many Tizen 6.5 panels you’ll later use Home → Custom App to run Fusion Signage.
On earlier Tizen versions the same action is labelled URL Launcher.
Install Fusion Signage (via URL)
Use the URL installer to ensure seamless auto‑updates.
When asked how to play or install apps, select Install via URL/Play via: Custom App (wording may differ).
Enter the app URL https://fus.app/tizen
Complete the wizard and allow the panel to finish installing.
Set correct time and date
Accurate time is required for identity retrieval, secure communication, and scheduling.
From the panel menu – Menu → System → Time (or Settings → Time & Date on some models).
Set timezone and verify date / time are correct (including daylight saving if applicable).
Launch Fusion Signage
After installation, Fusion Signage typically starts automatically. If you need to open it manually:
Tizen 6.5 and newer – Home → Custom App → Fusion Signage.
Earlier Tizen – Home → URL Launcher → Enter.
If the app does not appear, reboot the screen after saving the settings.
Add the screen to your Fusion Signage account
Once Fusion Signage is running, an identity code will appear on the screen.
Log in to your Fusion Signage portal.
Go to Deploy and click Add Screen.
Enter the identity code from the panel.
Name the device, select the licence, and confirm the timezone.
Click Add. Your screen is now linked and ready to receive content
If no identity displays or the device shows offline, double‑check network connectivity and the date / time settings.
Access the Fusion Signage in‑app menu
While Fusion Signage is running, press Enter / Select on the remote to open the hidden menu.
You’ll see Application Version, Device Identity, Device Time, Files Downloading, Assigned Playlist, Get Playlist (force refresh), and Settings.
Settings options include:
Enable auto updates – recommended to leave enabled.
Enable video sound – control audio playback in videos.
Menu secure access (for touch screens) – prevent accidental menu access. To open, tap 5 times quickly
Custom screen size – for LED walls/unusual resolutions, specify a custom canvas size.
Recommended panel settings
Use the panel’s menu button to access these (names may vary).
Auto power on – ensure screens power on automatically after power loss.
Timezone / daylight saving – confirm correct region so schedules run at the right local time.
Scheduled on / off timer – (optional) define panel power schedules. Note these are separate from Fusion Signage content scheduling.
Video playback notes
Simultaneous videos – most recent Tizen models support up to two videos at once. More than two may cause playback issues.
4K content – capability varies by model. Many entry‑level QBxxB/QBxxC panels may not support 4K reliably. Older QBR models do support 4K.
Reset or uninstall (when required)
Reset (clear app data / identity)
Menu → System → General → Empty Storage
This erases cached content and the device identity. You’ll need to delete the old screen in the Fusion Signage portal to free the licence, then re‑add the screen as a new device.
Uninstall Fusion Signage
On earlier Tizen – Menu → URL Launcher Settings → Uninstall.
On Tizen 6.5 – Home → App Management → Uninstall.
Quick reference – common button paths
Open app
Tizen 6.5: Home → Custom App → Fusion Signage
Earlier Tizen: Home → URL Launcher → Enter
Time / date: Menu → System → Time
Hidden menu: Enter/select (while app is running)
Reset app data: Menu → System → General → Empty Storage

Troubleshooting checklist
No identity code – check internet and time / date thenreboot the panel and relaunch Fusion Signage.
Video stuttering / black tiles – reduce concurrent videos to ≤2. Avoid 4K on models without robust 4K support.
Wrong timezone / schedules off – confirm timezone and daylight saving settings on the panel and in the Fusion Signage portal.
Screen is looking too bright or overly saturated – disable Picture Enhancer by pressing the Menu button on your Samsung remote, navigate to Picture > Advanced Settings, and disable Picture Enhancer. You should notice a more natural and balanced colour display immediately.
All done
Assign a playlist to this screen in the Fusion Signage portal to start playing content.
