Website link with images not refreshing

Overview

If you are using the Fusion Signage Website functionality within the Manage section to display images and your website link isn't refreshing on your screens, the issue may be that the URL you are using doesn't have built in logic to tell Fusion that it needs to refresh. This can commonly occur when a link is created from an API, by using a script, or from some dashboards.

You can try this workaround to force a refresh:

• Go to this site https://www.base64encode.org/ and copy the website URL into the box and click 'encode'.
• Copy the encoded text and add it onto the end of this URL https://fusion-misc-client-files.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/prevent-caching.html?url=
• Enter that URL into Fusion
• Set the duration within the playlist to be the refresh interval
